Oasis Community Shop

The Oasis Community Shop at Ridingleaze is an affordable charity shop selling donated baby and children’s clothes toys and books. The shop is run by a small group of Volunteer residents who work hard to keep it looking attractive and welcoming to all.

As well as creating goods to sell locally by making items in their weekly enterprise workshops, the volunteer residents also help to run a variety of short, term time craft workshops and family and children’s activities during the school holidays.  Longer funded courses are also delivered in partnership with Bristol’s Community Learning West.

Please keep a look out on the Oasis Hub North Bristol Facebook page to see what workshops are available. Events are also included in the Lawrence Weston What’s On Calendar.

The shop has been supported by ‘Big Local’ funding that is managed by Ambition Lawrence Weston. All the profit from the sales will be used by Oasis Hub North Bristol to fund the hub’s core services and other community initiatives. The workshop space is also used as a meeting area, offering residents a place to join in activities, have a cup of tea, meet friends and find information about local services.

Everyone welcome! It’s a very friendly place to try new things and meet new people.
