Come and find out how ambition Lawrence Weston have been working to improve the area for all over the last year.


We very much hope that you will be able to come and be part of this important milestone in the life of Ambition Lawrence Weston.

In addition to the formal business, you will also find out more information of the works being carried out by the Lawrence Weston planning group and the Big Local Lottery fund Steering group.

Helen Bone will update us on the Planning Group, and Dom Murphy will bring us up to date with our application to secure the initial slice of the £1,000,000 that has been allocated by The Big Local Lottery for the regeneration of Lawrence Weston.

A buffet and hot and cold soft drinks will be provided along with activities for children and Skittles competition.

Lawrence Weston College – Demolition begins

ALW, through the Neighbourhood Planning Group, have been campaigning for the redevelopment of this key site.  After many many months of waiting the contractors are now on site and the existing college building is being demolished.  Progress will be slow as this involves the safe removal of asbestos.


Forest Fun on Thursday 28th March.

Another Forest Fun event is taking place on De Clifford Road green (adjacent to the laundry) from 11am till 1pm, and at Lawrence Weston Community Farm from 2pm till 4pm.

Learn to make a fire with flint, toast marshmallows, go on a bug hunt and much more.
